That's not true, smoking makes you tired, lazy, and lethargic. Nicotine( the chemical contained in tobacco) is a stimulant, that's true! but for how long does it stimulate you? 10 or 15 minutes at max, then what happens? Here's the story Nicotine increases Resting Heart Rate (the number of times your heart beats at minute while you're at rest) . It increases the RHR dramatically to uncomfortable levels, that a mechanism in the body kicks in. This mechanism main purpose is to protect you from having a heart attack, and when it kicks in you lose the desire for physical activity and find yourself tired, lazy and lethargic.
